Shopify lets you create a purchase order and receive it. Flowtopus handles what happens in between: it emails the order to your supplier, reads replies and documents, flags changes to dates, quantities and prices, tells you when a supplier goes quiet, tracks deposits and landed cost, and warns you when a delay will cause a stockout.
How does Flowtopus connect to Shopify?
You install the public Shopify app and authorize the inventory, product, and order access Flowtopus needs. Your Shopify store is then linked to your Flowtopus organization.

Does AI decide what gets purchased?
No. Critical inventory calculations remain explainable, and an authorized human must review consequential purchasing decisions before a PO is sent.
What does Supplier Intelligence do?
It connects supplier emails and documents to the correct PO, extracts commitments and exceptions, and shows their likely operational impact. Starter includes 20 documents a month; Pro and Scale raise the limits.
Do I need to give access to my whole mailbox?
No. You can send from your Google or Microsoft address without granting mailbox reading access, forward selected supplier exchanges, or send prepared messages manually. Full mailbox synchronization is a separate, optional connection.
